› Well Baby Clinics

Well Baby Clinics focus on child development and childhood immunization.  Our team of Public Health Nurses provide families with valuable information on child development and provide immunization services.

Well Baby Clinics are held in the following Northwestern Health Unit offices:

Atikokan:
Families are encouraged to drop-in anytime to breastfeed, weigh baby or change baby, and to talk to the Public Health Nurse if they require information or have issues or concerns they wish to discuss.

Dryden:
Families are encouraged a drop-in anytime to weigh baby, and to call the Public Health Nurse for an appointment if they require information or have issues or concerns they wish to discuss.

Ear Falls:
Tuesdays, by appointment only.

Emo:
Moms and Babes drop in at the Emo Ontario Early Years Centre twice a month.  Check the OEYC calendar for dates and times.

Fort Frances:

Ignace:

Kenora:
Infants up to 18 months, Tuesdays by appointment only at the Market Square office. Families are encouraged a drop-in anytime to breastfeed, weigh baby or change baby.  

Note: That our Baby Wellness room is always open for moms to come and weigh their baby, but a nurse might not be here.

Rainy River:
Clinics with Nurse Practitioner and Public Health Nurse in Rainy River and Stratton, by appointment only.  Drop-ins accepted on Wednesdays.

Sioux Lookout:
Families are encouraged to drop-in any time to weight, change or breastfeed baby. The HBHC nurse would be happy to discuss any issues or concerns you may have or provide information.  If you prefer, an appointment can be made with the nurse.  Services can also be accessed at the "Baby and Me" drop-in group at the Best Start HUB (1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 1:30-3:00.
