Student Placements

Northwestern Health Unit works with our educational institutions to provide student placements in careers related to public health. We provide placements for nursing, speech and language pathology.

If you are a student interested in a placement with the health unit, we would recommend you first speak to your academic advisor at your school to find out whether we qualify as a placement agency. Your school should help you complete the necessary forms for an application.

You should direct all requests for placements to our Human Resources Department and should include the student name, university or college, faculty, health unit office or community placement site.
