Letter to Health Care Providers November 2021

Dear health care partners,

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact Northwestern Health Unit’s services. Our priority is the pandemic response, which includes case and contact management, COVID-19 vaccinations, and infection prevention and control support.

Nearly all NWHU staff have been redeployed to assist with the pandemic response and unfortunately have very little capacity for other tasks, including routine vaccinations. We hope that you will continue to offer vaccinations in your organization to ensure our community is protected from infectious diseases.

Thank you for the important work you’re doing to make our communities healthy and safe. We truly appreciate your ongoing efforts to support the COVID-19 and influenza vaccination campaigns.
