Getting your Flu/COVID-19 vaccine
COVID-19 vaccines are available through your health care provider and some pharmacies. You can find pharmacy locations for COVID-19 vaccine at https://www.ontario.ca/vaccine-locations/.
The Flu and COVID-19 vaccine is available at all NWHU clinics.

Book an appointment at an NWHU clinic
NWHU COVID-19 and flu-specific clinics are finished for this season, online booking will be available again in the fall.
You can still book an appointment at our regular vaccine clinics by calling your local office.
Eligibility for Flu/COVID-19 vaccines
COVID-19 vaccines eligibility
COVID-19 vaccines will be available early October for those who are at high-risk or complications or hospitalization due to COVID-19. These priority groups include:
It is recommended that the following individuals who are at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19 receive an additional dose of a COVID-19 vaccine this fall:
- Adults aged 65 years and older
- Residents of a long-term care homes or other congregate living settings for seniors
- All children 6 months to 4 years of age
- All pregnant individuals
- Individuals in or from First Nations, Métis or Inuit communities
- Members of racialized and other equity-deserving communities
- First responders
- Health care workers
- Those who have underlying medical conditions that place them at higher risk of severe COVID-19
- Individuals with significant exposure to birds and mammals
The updated vaccine will be available to all individuals 6 months of age and older starting October 28, 2024.
